This event is held in the parade ground and buildings of Newhaven Fort which is steeped in history from Napoleonic times to WWII housing many exhibits, all of which will be free to Exhibitors during the open period of the event. You can also watch the audio visual shOw in the theatre and cliff top ramparts from where there are spectacular views of Newhaven Harbour and Seaford Bay. There will be no concours as we plan to promote a friendly weekend for the Exhibitor and the family, yet at the same time present the visiting public with as wide a range of exhibits as possible including trade stalls. Due to the fort's low and narrow entrance, Only vehicles below 7'O" can drive inside, larger vehicles such as buses or lorries will be in the Moat area. Similarly caravans will be in the Moat area although Exhibitors will be allowed in with their cars to unload their models, collections, motorcycle, stationary engines etc. Collections will be under cover, either in one of he Casement rooms or in the barn all of which will be locked at night. The fort has no bar but excellent hot & cold drinks and liht refreshments are available in the Guard Room Canteen and there are numerous picnic tables around the fort. There are several pubs within walking distance. Entry passes will be sent 1O days before the event. We hope that you will join us for this weekend and we look forward to receiving your entry.
